Are you looking to take a final trip to the coast before the cool weather starts to approach? In 50 days you can visit the North Carolina Seafood Festival happening October 1st-3rd at 412 D Evans Street in Morehead City, just north of Atlantic Beach!

 

This not-for-profit organization provides a taste of the North Carolina coast! The purpose for this festival is to help promote the positive economic and social impacts that the seafood industry has on the residents of North Carolina! The North Carolina Seafood Festival also helps educate about seafood native to the NC Coast, boost tourism, create scholarships related to the seafood industry, and more!

 

There are so many events to attend at this year’s NC Seafood Festival! You can try out the Port of Pours where you can try unlimited samples from breweries across the state and country! You will be able to hear live musical performances from Cat 5 Band, Paige King Johnson and Band, Thunderfoot, The Bonafides, Kayleigh Matthews, Gary Lowder and Smoking Hot, Aquanauts, and Spare Change! You’ll also have the opportunity to participate in road races and the oyster shucking contest! You can participate in all of these while enjoying the seafood specialities from NC locals!
